Before You Arrive

Sundown Soca Festival CA is built for music, movement, and good energy. These rules help keep the event organized, comfortable, and safe for guests, vendors, entertainers, staff, and security.

By purchasing admission, reserving an area, entering the venue, or attending the event, guests agree to follow event rules, posted venue instructions, and staff or security direction.

Admission & Entry

  • Valid event admission or approved reservation confirmation is required for entry.
  • Use the official event link or Ticket Gateway app when arranging admission.
  • Have your QR code, confirmation, and valid ID ready before reaching the gate.
  • Entry Access is single-entry. Leaving and returning is prohibited.
  • Lost, duplicated, altered, or unofficial passes may be refused at the gate.

Cooler Policy

  • General Admission allows 1 cooler per entry pass.
  • Premium Reserved Area allows up to 5 coolers per reserved package.
  • No glass items are allowed inside any cooler or bag.
  • Coolers are subject to inspection before entry.
  • Guests may be asked to remove or dispose of prohibited items before entering.

Prohibited Items

  • No weapons, fireworks, explosives, or items that can be used to harm others.
  • No glass bottles, glass cups, or glass containers of any kind.
  • No illegal substances, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia.
  • No drones, laser pointers, projectiles, or disruptive noisemakers.
  • No unauthorized vending, flyers, sampling, or promotional material.

Safety Screening

  • All guests, bags, and coolers may be visually inspected by event security.
  • Refusing inspection may result in denied entry without re-entry privileges.
  • Security may refuse any item considered unsafe, disruptive, or unsuitable for the event.
  • Report medical, safety, or security concerns to event staff immediately.
  • Follow posted signs, emergency routes, and instructions from staff or security.

Guest Conduct

  • Respect guests, entertainers, vendors, staff, security, and nearby properties.
  • No fighting, threats, harassment, abuse, or unsafe behavior.
  • No entering restricted areas, backstage areas, vendor stations, or staff-only zones.
  • Guests who are intoxicated, disruptive, or refusing event rules may be removed.
  • Removal from the event may happen without refund or re-entry.

Canadian & Ontario Legal Compliance

  • All guests must follow applicable Government of Canada, Province of Ontario, City of Toronto, venue, permit, police, fire, health, and security requirements.
  • No illegal substances, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia are allowed.
  • Guests may be asked to show valid government-issued photo ID where required by law, permit conditions, or event operations.
  • Smoking or vaping is only allowed in areas permitted by law, venue rules, and posted event signage.
  • Do not drive impaired. Plan a safe ride, rideshare, taxi, transit route, or designated driver before arriving.

Photography, Video & Information Notice

  • Event photography, video, and crowd images may be captured for safety, operations, recap, marketing, and social media use.
  • By entering the event space, guests acknowledge that they may appear in event media captured in public event areas.
  • No photo, video, or recording is allowed in washrooms, private areas, staff-only areas, or any space where privacy is expected.
  • Media, photographers, and guests must follow staff and security direction when filming or taking photos.

Reservations & Premium Areas

  • Reserved areas are for the pass holder and approved guests listed in the package.
  • Premium Reserved Area includes 5 General Admission passes, a 10x10 tent, high-top table, and 5 chairs.
  • Do not move tents, tables, chairs, barriers, signs, or production equipment.
  • Keep reserved areas clean and clear of blocked walkways or emergency routes.
  • Event staff may adjust reserved layouts for safety, access, weather, or operational needs.

Weather & Event Operations

  • This is an outdoor event. Dress for the weather and bring sun protection where needed.
  • Schedule, performers, vendors, entry procedures, and operating rules may change if required.
  • Weather, emergency, safety, or permit conditions may affect event timing or access.
  • Announcements may be made on site, through official channels, or by event staff.
  • Guests are responsible for personal items brought to the venue.
  • Food and drink vendors are expected to follow applicable Toronto Public Health and Ontario food safety requirements.

Important Reminder

  • No glass items.
  • No illegal substances.
  • No re-entry after leaving.
  • One cooler per General Admission pass.
  • Illegal substances are not allowed.
